Our Story
Psyche’s Clay was founded in 2023 by father and son in Madison, Alabama, blending digital design with traditional slip casting. By 2025, our creative family expanded to include other talented artists.
We love connecting with our community at local art shows—meeting people who resonate with our work is what inspires us most.
As our journey grows, we’re excited to share it with you. We hope our pieces spark creativity and help make everyday life—and our community—a little more beautiful.

Our Values
Well-being through craft, creativity and community

Craft
Crafting work that can become a special part of others daily routines is our passion. One of the best parts of our work is when we witness somebody connecting with one of our pieces at an art show.

Your satisfaction is our top priority, so if you have any questions or concerns about your purchase, please don’t hesitate to reach out via email.
Creativity
Adopting a creative mindset is a powerful way to enrich your life. It can influence how you navigate daily life. It encourages you to approach challenges with flexibility and to see opportunities where others might see obstacles. We hope that our work inspires others to live life creatively.
Community
At Psyche's Clay, we aim to create a positive impact—through the connections we build with others. We are deeply grateful for the support of the community, which allows us to pursue what we love. Your encouragement inspires us every day, and we feel truly blessed to share our passion with you.
What's with the name?

Psyche's Clay ( Psi-keys Clay )

You see, Psyche is the Greek goddess of the soul, and she is often represented by butterflies. Once upon a time, Hunter and I created a public art project that included sixteen illuminated colorful butterflies suspended in air, representing Psyche. When it came time to design a logo for our pottery studio, I found myself thinking back to those butterflies. They felt like the perfect symbol for our work.
